Story
The Dalton brothers have escaped jail again. When Lucky Luke finds out about this he sets off to find and arrest them, facing various challenges along the way.
Gameplay
Lucky Luke is mostly a platformer, but it often switches to different types of gameplay, which I enjoy. For example, riding on horseback, a minecart level and fist fighting in a saloon. Some platforming levels require you to simply reach the end, and some to collect all the needed objects before doing so. A big plus is the game's variety, in my opinion. After each level you can buy extra lives with the money you've collected and/or you can pay for a password. The game cannot be saved, so in order to continue where you left off last time, you need to input a password. Some people might not like the idea of buying passwords, but I think it makes things more interesting. A good way to make money besides collecting it in levels is to collect all the letter B's in a level. That will allow you to play a bonus game once you complete the level, and you can get a lot of money by playing it. What I don't like about the game is that there are some jumps that require too much precision. The minecart level is frustrating because there are some hazards that you can't see very well due to the camera being behind the character, and they don't give you enough time to react.
Final thoughts
The game is difficult and fun. It's quite short, and despite its problems it's enjoyable. An OK game, and the music is really good.
